Real Time Music is pleased to announce the organization of a level 1 soundpainting training, which will be held on ocober 23 to 26 2025 at the Pavillon de la sirène Paris). This exceptional training will be led by recognized experts in the field and will offer a unique opportunity for professional development.

4 days (23, 24, 25 and 26 October), from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break. That is 24 hours of training.

TARGETED AUDIENCES
Musicians, dancers, actors, or anyone interested in real-time creation (pedagogues, therapists, facilitators).
OBJECTIVES
1. Accurately use the 45 fundamental signs of Soundpainting (referenced in Walter Thompson’s first workbook).
2. Understand and implement the syntax of language: sentence structure, sequence logic, time management.
3. Execute the signs in a clear and legible way, respecting the fundamental body principles of Soundpainting (neutral position / active box, imaginary staff).
4. Actively interpret Soundpainting as a Performer and direct it as a Soundpainter.
5. Clearly explain the basics of Soundpainting to a group: definitions, how the language works, fundamental rules, description of content and functions.
6. Introduce a group to the practice of Soundpainting using the basic signs in an artistic or educational context.

PEDAGOGICAL COORDINATION

Interactive and immersive face-to-face training.
Systematic alternation of the roles of Soundpainter and Performer.
Work on proprioception.
Regular personalized feedback and active pedagogy based on practical experimentation.

EVALUATION AND CERTIFICATION METHODS:
Continuous evaluation by observation of performance and immediate feedback from trainers.
Certification Real Time Music-Walter Thompson:
- Practical evaluation: 10′ composition and interpretation (performer/soundpainter) situation, allowing to evaluate the mastery of signs, their bodily readability, and the effectiveness of gestural communication.
- Questionnaire to assess the ability to explain the fundamental signs, to transmit the rules of syntax, and to present the philosophical foundations of Soundpainting.
- At the end of the training, a Soundpaintng Level 1 certification certificate will be given to the participants who have obtained the certification.
RATES AND FINANCING:
