Build a rock-solid foundation in the universal live-composition language. This 30-hour professional training program, held in Paris (Montreuil), is specifically designed for musicians, educators, and performing artists who want to learn the structural grammar and syntax (Who–What–How–When) of Soundpainting.
Led by certified instructor Claude Whipple, along with historical figure François Jeanneau and Soundpainting creator Walter Thompson himself, this intensive curriculum will guide you through the 45 core signs of Workbook 1. You will practice real-time composition under constraints, refine your physical body-readiness (active box), and develop the pedagogical skills needed to teach signs clearly to diverse groups.
Level 1 Certification Requirements: To validate Block 1, candidates must pass a written theoretical test (MCQ) on core terminology and successfully direct an 8-to-10 minute real-time live composition demonstrating fluid syntax, active posture, and reliable performance transitions before the official jury. A public showcase concludes the module on Friday evening.
