BLOC 3: Multidisciplinary Openness – Basics of Multidisciplinary Composition in Soundpainting
The Soundpainting Block 3 training, which will take place from 05 to 09 April 2027 at ALBATROS, Montreuil, France, represents a unique opportunity for artists, pedagogues and performers of all disciplines wishing to deepen their mastery of Soundpainting in a resolutely multidisciplinary setting.
This 30-hour session, moderated by Walter Thompson (creator of Soundpainting), François Jeanneau and Claude Whipple, will allow you to explore the applications of Soundpainting to theatre, dance and visual arts, well beyond the musical dimension alone.
The program includes learning the signs specific to each discipline, practical composition sessions and a public presentation of the work. The training is based on Walter Thompson’s Workbook 3, which offers a comprehensive and structured approach to multidisciplinary composition in Soundpainting.
At the end of the training, participants will obtain a Level 3 certification, attesting to their ability to compose with artists from different disciplines.
Applications must be submitted before April 5, 2027.
